The BAFTA & RTS award nominated F Word is television’s most entertaining food magazine show.

  • The F Word’s bold, modern and mischievous take on the world of food combines location VTs, kitchen actuality, celebrity interviews, stunts and recipe based challenges to give the format its trademark energy, pace and visual richness and create waves in the food world and beyond.

The action takes place against the backdrop of a working kitchen staffed by Gordon and his all-amateur kitchen brigade. Over the course of the show Gordon and his brigade prepare a three course meal for 50 diners – every recipe is something viewers can cook at home. If the diners don’t like their food they don’t have to pay for it, so the pressure’s really on for the brigade to prove they have the skills and strength of character to deliver under the pressure of a busy restaurant service.

Combined with VT features such as Gordon Ramsay’s Fast Food, in which Gordon tackles the “I haven’t got time to cook” mentality by proving that fast food doesn’t have to be bad food, culinary cruise missile Janet Street-Porter starts slapping F-Word Food ASBOs on purveyors of “anti-social food behaviour”, Gordon hunts down and kills some of Britain’s best ingredients, and he raises animals in his back garden to feed the restaurant.

Gordon Ramsay’s F Word is television for people with an appetite for life.
