Gail joined Optomen in 2003 as a freelance Production Manager before working as a company Unit Manager and now as Head of Production. She and her team manage the production process from the initial budgeting and scheduling through to delivery.
During her time with the company she has overseen a range of projects including Great British Menu, Gordon Ramsay’s Cookalong Live, Mary Queen of Shops, Police Camera Action, Market Kitchen, Horizon: Capital Punishment and Exorcism, Live!
Gail started her career working at the National Film and Television School, first in their library and then as a Course Coordinator. As a PM she has worked for a number of production companies on a variety of one off documentaries and factual series with subjects as diverse as London’s Air Ambulance Service, the archaeology of global colonization and the ultimate manmade explosions.
