Nicky started her career as an intern at MTV News. When MTV Networks launched a second channel called VH1 in 1994, she was part of the original production team.

Here she indulged her love of music, and worked with a variety of quality presenters and world renown recording artists. Rising to Producer/Director and then Assistant Features Editor at the channel, she left in 2000 moving to Music Choice as Special Programmes Manager, managing the features output for over 40 digital audio channels on Sky in the UK and across Europe.

Going freelance in 2003, Nicky worked for Emap Performance as Senior Producer managing promo and programme production on their seven music channels. She re-launched ITV’s long running CD:UK, where she gave Myleene Klass one of her first presenting roles, and has talent-produced at a host of music festivals.

She has produced and directed movie premiere specials for ITV 1, and Series Produced for both MTV, and the E! Entertainment Network. She has worked with a vast array of today’s top radio and television presenting talent including Davina McCall, Mark Radcliffe, Richard Allinson, Tommy Vance, Kate Thornton, Alex Zane, Jenni Falconer, Cat Deeley, Lauren Laverne and Vernon Kay.

Nicky joined Optomen in early 2007.
