One Potato Two Potato is a joint venture production company co-owned by Gordon Ramsay and Optomen Television which exclusively produces all of Ramsay's new worldwide audio visual output.
 
At the start of 2010 One Potato appointed Adeline Ramage Rooney to run the company’s newly opened Los Angeles office. As OPTP Inc’s Vice President, Programs and Development, Ramage Rooney will oversee all US production and executive produce all major US projects.

Rooney’s first task in LA has been to Executive Produce the smash hit U.K. and Australian format “Masterchef” for FOX. The culinary competition series takes wannabe chefs who cook as a hobby and transforms one of them into America's first “Masterchef”. The series starts on FOX on Tuesday 27th July at 9pm.

One Potato Two Potato's UK office is in production on two major Channel 4 series: a second season of "Gordon's Great Escape" which will see Gordon exploring the extraordinary culinary landscape of South East Asia and "Ramsay's Best Restaurant", a new restaurant competition series which follows Gordon Ramsay's search for Britain's unsung restaurant heroes and as they compete for the title of "Ramsay's Best Restaurant".

One Potato’s latest project is “Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas”, (2 x 60’) a series that will teach you everything you need to know to cook up the perfect Christmas. This is Gordon's most instructional food series yet, as he shares a lifetime of chef's secrets and explains how they translate to the home so you can cook the perfect food over Christmas, without breaking the bank or getting so stressed you can't enjoy it.

One Potato Two Potato has a number of other major projects in development – both in the food genre and outside of it – in the UK, USA and Australia.

About One Potato Two Potato

In July 2008 Optomen Television and Gordon Ramsay announced the formation of One Potato Two Potato. One Potato's first major UK series commission was “Cookalong Live” (7 x 60') for Channel 4's Autumn 2008 season. The series built on the success of Gordon's first live “Cookalong” that aired in January 2008, achieving an audience of 4.5 million viewers and encouraging people across the country to cook with Gordon, live. The Cookalong format has generated great interest around the world and Optomen International (who represent the format on behalf of OPTP) has successfully sold the format across Europe and into the US. The US “Cookalong Live” (One Potato’s first US show) aired on 15th December 2009 on FOX and was a huge success in getting people across America cooking. A 10 x 60' Swedish version launched on 7 September 2009 to strong ratings.

Back in the UK One Potato Two Potato have made two series (3 x 60’ and 4 x 60’) of "Gordon's Great Escape", we’re in production on the new series “Ramsay’s Best Restaurant” (12 x 60’), a major new show for Channel 4, due for launch in Autumn 2010, and “Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas” (2 x 60’) which will air on Channel 4 in December 2010. In July 2010 One Potato Two Potato Inc’s first FOX series will air: “Masterchef” has been a huge hit in the UK and Australia, now it’s time to find America’s best amateur cook. The show stars Gordon Ramsay who also acts as an Executive Producer.
